Auxiliary 2 - Deep Cove Lifeboat
Deep Cove Lifeboat "Auxiliary 2" is crewed
by CCG Auxiliary - Pacific, Unit 2. The lifeboat operates out of moorage provided by the Deep Cove Yacht
club in North Vancouver.
The lifeboat is a 29ft planing hull powered by a 310HP Volvo DG with co-axial counter rotating dual props, and is capable of 30 knots.
The lifeboat has been in service since with the Society 1997, with
a service life extension in 2003 including re-powering and new electronics.
