Howe Sound Lifeboat "Auxiliary 1" is crewed by CCG Auxiliary-Pacific, Unit 1.

The lifeboat operates out of the West Vancouver Yacht Club at Fisherman's Cove.

The lifeboat is a 26ft rigid hull inflatable powered by twin 200 HP four stroke outboards, and is capable of 40 knots.
The lifeboat has been in service since with the Society 1998. The vessel was overhauled earlier in 2005 with new electronics and motors.
