Summary

The Northshore Lifeboat Society is a non-profit all-volunteer registered charity that owns, pays for and supports the three all-weather marine search and rescue vessels for dedicated use by the North Shore based Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary (CCGA) by:

• Providing & managing suitably equipped all weather Search & Rescue (SAR) vessels.
• Raising funds for the establishment, maintenance & operation of marine search & rescue equipment / facilities, and the vessel costs of training of the CCGA crews.
• Promoting marine safety among the boating public on the in Vancouver North Shore and adjoining areas.
